We are not meant to do life alone. Though so many things around us culturally say that we are already so connected or that we are better off alone, we know that the life God is calling us to is a rich life in community with other people. In this message Pastor Wes challenges us to get outside of our comfort zones and into a life with others in order to Grow and deeper in our faith and to get the most out of this life! We hope you’ll be encouraged by this message. Acts 2:42-47 (NLT) All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

The Wilderness Way Current Series Resources: https://baychapel.churchcenter.com/pages/prayer Before Jesus begins his ministry he goes through a season where he disconnects from the world and gets away with God in the wilderness. We often think of our “wilderness seasons” as painful or a negative experience, whereas it is actually a blessing! In this message for the new year, Pastor Wes Morris challenges us in a couple of ways that we are distracted from our wilderness opportunities and 3 ways to embrace and fully experience our wilderness time with our creator. We hope you’ll be encouraged by this message. Mark 1:9-13 (NLT) One day Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and John baptized him in the Jordan River. As Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the heavens splitting apart and the Holy Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.” The Spirit then compelled Jesus to go into the wilderness, where he was tempted by Satan for forty days. He was out among the wild animals, and angels took care of him.

The Rhythm of Rest "To rest, is to trust that God has done enough." God has set the rhythms for us and all of creation, even from the beginning of time, but we continually try to control and do things in our own power and it drains us every time. In this message for the new year, Pastor Wes Morris reminds us that we can rest! Not just sleep, but really rest. Rest is necessary seasonally, weekly, and daily. Take a few minutes and listen to this message right now! Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) - “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.
